I am really excited today to tell you all about my love of photo strips. Especially when I found a way to make them from my Instagram photos. Those special memories get stuck in my phone and never get printed. Does this sound like you too??! With HP Instant Ink from Best Buy, I just keep printing and printing and printing…
So let’s get to it. Here’s how I make Instagram photo strips of awesome ALL THE TIME!
First, go to Canva.com and click on the selection for collages.
Next scroll down to the collage that looks like 4 photo strips.
Drag and drop your photos into Canva by clicking uploads. If you uploaded yours to Facebook, you can just click on the Facebook button. (I’m hoping that Canva will have Instagram integration soon. Hint, Hint Canva)
Now just drag your photos where you want them in the collage. Its easy to fix each one right in the collage. Press the link and publish button and voila, you have 4 photo strips. These are some of my favorites: My recent trip to Vidcon, my adorable little dog, Coco Chanel, me and my online BFFs at BlogHer last year (saving this one FOREVER) and my son and how much he changed over the last year (hold me!!)
After I saved the collage to my computer, I cropped it into two separate photos for easier and larger printing. I then printed them on 5 x 7 glossy photo paper and just cut them apart very carefully( Next up on the list, a paper cutter, cause photo strips need straight lines!).
Do you love them too? These are great for scrapbooks, gifts, bookmarks, and just to hang anywhere you want photos. (I love putting a few on the fridge. It really happy-s up the kitchen!! I also hung some on the white board in my office.) (Side Note: These are awesome to laminate too. I love laminating as much as I love making photo strips!!)
I love to make tons of these and now with HP Instant Ink from Best Buy, I can make as many as I want without worry about running out of ink. My HP – ENVY 5530 Wireless e-All-In-One Printer automatically lets HP know when to send more ink, and HP delivers the new ink right to my door BEFORE I need more. AWESOME, right?!
How it works:
You just enroll online, and choose your monthly plan ($2.99/month, $4.99/month, $9.99/month) depending on how much you want to print. If you’re like me, you at least want the $4.99 a month plan but I may upgrade to the $9.99 plan depending on how many photos I have this year!! HP will mail you special HP Instant Ink cartridges. Instant Ink cartridges have more ink than standard HP ink cartridges, so you’ll replace them less often. The more you print, the more you SAVE!!
BONUS! Mobile Printing is easy too! You can print from virtually anywhere with your smartphone or tablet. Download the HP ePrint App (for Android and for iPhone and iPad) to enable printing from most internet-connected, email-capable devices!!
Yes!!!! With HP Instant Ink from Best Buy I can make Instagram photo strips (AND SO MUCH MORE) to my hearts content! Now, if only they could detect when I was running out of paper too!! HA! We would love to see yours too!! Share your own photo strips with us over on our Facebook page!!
